A Szczecin based Incubator

Oderwerk

From
a strong
city
to
a strong
region.

We are looking for the major technological problems of these times in order to find solutions and new business concepts with the help of an accompanied entrepreneurial programme.

Special focus is placed on the cooperation between the teams and the region. We are convinced that a strong region can only be created through an effective international cooperation.

Szczecin, the old new city.

The old port city of Stettin is located in the immediate vicinity of Berlin. In its heyday it grew into an important industrial location and the most important port in the province of Pomerania. Together with the Stettin shipyard, a strong maritime economy developed, which was recognised as far as Berlin and beyond. The relationship between the city, the region and Berlin went so far that Stettin was called the port of Berlin.

Even after the war, the port and shipyard were an integral part of the now Polish city of Szczecin. After existential problems caused by the transformation, the city is now looking for new economic impulses.
